About the Position: We seek a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in a part-time, hybrid work in our NJ. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of financial and accounting documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with logistical coordination, procurement, and coordination with external partners.
  • Support closing processes, financial reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage accounts payable, including outgoing payments, vendor relationships, negotiation of payment terms, and ensuring all expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
  • Proactive communication and creating a regular communication cadence with the CFO
  • Oversee and administer the expense process, including training new employees on procedural guidelines.

Requirements for Remote Work:

  • Reliable internet connection.
  • A designated home office space conducive to productive work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, phones, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of booking keeping, accounts receivable or related experience required.
  • Experience in financial management in SAAS companies, collection, and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in using Stripe, Microsoft, and Google Suite required
  • Hubspot and other bookkeeping software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
